Topcon MSAX EDM and Motor Settings (ARTICLE)
To properly use a Topcon MSAX total station in an automated setting, you need to ensure the EDM(Electronic Distance Measurement) Sensor and Motor settings are set correctly to return the measurements needed by the control software.
On the Total Station screen, tap the config icon.
Then select the 9.Motor menu. Set the following settings:
