How to setup a Topcon AGM-1 GNSS on Sensemetrics/iTwinIOT
- To begin click add new device on the Network screen and search from Topcon AGM-1
- Choose the Thread ID and Port the AGM-1 is plugged into.
(if you get a warning that your Thread requires an update, see the note at the bottom of this guide) - On the configuration page, select if this GNSS using will be used as a control/reference/base point. You will need at least one or more control points installed on a stable location near your monitoring area, in addition to however many monitoring points you have.
- Control location will update automatically.

- Set the Sampling interval as needed (longer sampling intervals allow more precision)
- Choose your start time to set the baseline date.
- Choose the correct time-zone.
- Finally select the Grid and Datum most appropriate for your GNSS location. If you are unsure about which Grid or Datum to choose refer to our Guide to GNSS Grid and Datums.
NOTE: To update your Thread
If the Thread requires an update, head back to the connectivity tab, Click on the Thread> Diagnostics > Version > Gear > Update (choose at least 8.17.8 or newer)
