Rock Quick Start Guide (ARTICLE)

1. Ensure the Rock is fully charged before installation by using the included Mini-USB charger. (Fully charged from 0% in 30 hrs)
   
2. Navigate to https://scs.syscom-instruments.com/ to see to configure your ROCK
   • Enter in your SCS account;
   • Create a New Project, under section PROJECTS
   • Access the POOL section and TAKE IN the ROCK in your account
   • ASSIGN the ROCK to the project
   • Turn ON the Rock and select the duration
   • Set the ROCK parameters(trigger, alarms,.etc)
   • Set reporting and notifications, if needed.
3. Install the Rock on a horizontal surface. The mounting location should be relatively flat and should not consist of loose materials like sod, soft ground coverings, or debris.
4. Attach the antenna to the top of the Rock.
5. Use the three leveling screws on the mounting plate to ensure the bubble level on the top of the Rock is within the circle.
   (Pro-tip: use the surveyor's Left Thumb Rule to level the screws quickly and efficiently)

6. Push the power button for 1 second to turn the Rock on. It will automatically attempt to connect to the cloud. See the below status indicator LEDs.
   
   
7. Navigate to https://scs.syscom-instruments.com/ to see the latest data and check the status of your Rock.
