How to update your Victron Charge controller to the latest settings

Improved configuration or setup for our Victron charge controller that will enhance its performance in cold weather conditions

Configure a Battery UPM/300W 12V and 450W 12 in the Victron App using the exact parameters provided by the battery manufacturer, Battleborn, for this charge controller.
For programming load output, we use a user-defined setting to turn o at 12V (9 percent battery life) and on at 12.70V (17 percent battery life). FYI, 11.7V or below is considered a 0 percent state of charge, which can trip the battery BMS and requires 12V or more to re-enable the battery. If a large load is suddenly applied immediately after the BMS wakes up, the voltage may sag, causing the BMS to trip again immediately. It is recommended to reconnect loads gradually after the battery has begun charging. To protect the load device, set the load switch voltage level to 12V, and the load switch high level to 12.7V.
