This video is a guide on how to assemble and connect an Ultra Power Mate and AQS One Air Quality Monitoring Station.
The video starts with opening the solar mounting bracket kit and organizing all the nuts and bolts. The two longer legs are lined up with the shorter legs. The second bolt hole is used to put in the first bolt, which acts as the pivot point for the bracket. The short leg is attached to the foot of each short leg, and a leg is attached to the far end of the longer angle. The second side is assembled by mirroring the first side so that the angles are facing in the opposite direction, resulting in a symmetrical assembly.
Once the two sides are positioned, the first solar panel is lowered into place. The spacing between the two legs is adjusted to line up with the holes on the back of the solar panel. The two top screws are inserted first, followed by the two bottom screws.
The top solar panel is then slid down on top. There will be a small gap between the two panels. The solar panel is secured with the two top bolts first, followed by the nuts on the outside. The same is done on the other side. There will still be a small gap between the two solar panels, but this is normal.
The connection process starts by wiring the two panels in series. The positive of one panel is connected to the negative of the other. The extension cables are retrieved from the Ultra Power Mate case. The positive and negative extension cables are connected to the Ultra Powermate case. The smaller Kinco extension cable is connected to the load output of the case and to the input of the AQS. Finally, all the breakers are switched on.
