Attached is a walkthrough on how to add new points to delta watch.
- Open Point and limit management, sort points by "remark" and set status to "active" for all newly added points
- Copy the first epoch after the new points were measured to a manual network, you can use the timestamp referenced in the "remark" from step one.
- In the manual network, open total station data and make sure all new points are checked under "used points", click "Calculate" then "Apply"
- Go to Coordinates > Approximate coordinates, Click refresh to approximate coordinates for the new points, they should be the only ones without coords initially. click "apply"
- click on the full timestamp(YYYY-mm-dd HH:MM:ss)
- make sure the new points are under new points(not datum), then click calculate adjustment, switch to vertical adjustment and click calculate adjustment
- If adjustment was successful, click coordinates again, now Output coordinates, If there are coords here for your new points, right click on them and "Write coordinates to point definition"
- Now head back to point and limit management, make sure the point type of all new points is correct.
- Finally Add the point to the appropriate point group for export.
Now in older versions of DW prior to 3.10 recalculating old data in the automatic network is a little more complicated than it needs to be due to a bug:
First way v3.10 or newer
- open the epoch tab click reprocess interval
second way, v3.4 or older
- disable automatic loading from the Automatic Network
- Go to the D drive > Delta Archives > Geodetic networks > network name, go through each month and day folder to find the GKAs you want to reprocess
- Copy each GKA back to the delta link folder for that network
- delete all the epochs from the automatic network in delta watch
- enable automatic loading from the Automatic Network
- All the epochs will calculate again as if they were brand new.
