Hi, Mick from Spectro Technology here. Today I'm going to show you how to connect a Vaisala Weather Station to an Aeroqual System.
- Take the cable and put it through the top of the pole.
- Connect the Vaisala to it.
- There's a certain orientation for the pins to go, so when you're connecting it needs to goes the right way in.
- Tighten the sleeve all the way up. That can be an issue in the field if that comes loose.
- Put the Vaisala on. You just snap it onto the top. And we have our Vaisala now on our pole.
- Put that pole onto the Aeroqual System. The pole connects directly onto the tripod. Just push that in place.
- Line up the holes. There is a screw that goes through the middle.
- Once the screw is through, we're going to tighten it on the other side. And then you have your weather station in place.
- Take the end of the cable and connect that to the quick connect orange out connector coming out of the Aeroqual System.
- Again, there's a certain orientation for the pins. Do the same thing here and screw it all the way in so it's tight.
- Check that it's working & you have the Vaisala fully connected.
- Don't forget to turn the Vaisala to the north.
