Aeroqual - EPC Swap

Learn how to safely replace the EPC module on your Aeroqual air monitoring station. This step-by-step video shows how to remove the old EPC, install the new unit, and confirm proper operation. Perfect for field technicians and anyone maintaining Aeroqual systems.

  1. Begin by carefully opening the Aeroqual enclosure to access the internal components.
  2. Turn the main power switch to the OFF position to ensure the station is completely powered down before handling any internal parts.
  3. The EPC (Environmental Processing Controller). The EPC is typically positioned near the top center of the Aeroqual station.
  4. Detach the antenna, communication, and any other connected cables from both the top and bottom of the EPC.
    1. There are usually two or more connections on each side.
    2. Note: Record or label each cable’s position before removal to ensure accurate reconnection later.

  5. Using a screwdriver, remove the two mounting screws securing the EPC. Carefully lift the module out of the enclosure.
  6. Position the replacement EPC in the same location and use the original screws to fasten it securely.
  7. Attach each antenna, communication, and power cable to the same ports as the previous EPC.
  8. Turn the power switch back to the ON position and confirm the EPC powers up successfully.
